SA Lib senator calls on Labor to support drought legislation

July 22, 2019. Liberal senator David Fawcett speaks to the media in Canberra about Labor's intention to block legislation regarding the government's $5 billion drought assistance package. "We are seeing famers under stress because of drought". Mr Fawcett says. The senator is also asked if he will support an aboriginal "voice" in the parliament. "I think recognition is something that is feasible but I don't personally support a voice to the parliament," Mr Fawcett says. (AAP Video/Marc Tewksbury)
