Robert Mueller prepares to testify before Congress

Anticipation is building in the United States as Robert Mueller prepares to testify before Congress. Democrats hope it will lead to President Donald Trump's impeachment, but Republicans have accused them of a partisan witch hunt. On Wednesday, the former special counsel is due to testify about his report into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and whether Mr Trump tried to obstruct Mr Mueller’s investigation. In a tweet, Mr Trump wrote 'highly conflicted Robert Mueller should not be given another bite at the apple'. 'In the end it will be bad for him and the phony Democrats in Congress who have done nothing but waste time on this ridiculous witch hunt,' he added.
