It’s up to all of us to search our conscience on abortion bill: Berejiklian

July 30, 2019. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian speaks to reporters in Sydney, saying a bill to decriminalise abortion expected didn't "go to the party room" because it is not a government bill. "And on issues such as this we support a conscience vote for our party members," Ms Berejiklian says. "I don't begrudge people for having strong positions on this issue... for most of us it's not an easy decision and conclusion we come to... but we have responsibilities as elected representatives... to dig deep into our own personal conscience."
