Ethiopia plants 350 million trees in a day, smashing records

Ethiopia has obliterated the world record for most trees planted in just one day. Offices across the country shut down to allow workers to plant 350 million native tree seedlings in more than 1,000 locations. The achievement dwarfs the previous record of 50 million, set in 2016.
