The doping predicament engulfing embattled Australian swimming star Shayna Jack highlights the “double standards” of the world governing body, four-time Olympic swimming gold medallist Libby Trickett says. Ms Trickett says the Australian swimmer was sent home immediately once she returned a positive drug test while China's Sun Yang “has a hearing that’s about to happen in September”, yet he was still allowed to compete. Ms Jack was barred from competing in the World Championships in South Korea after testing positive to Ligandrol — a drug used to build muscle mass. The freestyle sprinter continues to maintain her innocence and is fighting the results. ‘I had never heard of it before, let alone know how to pronounce it,’ she wrote on social media. Image: AP
