Two dead after plane crashes into home in US

Two people have been killed after a single-engine plane crashed into a North Carolina home in the US. The pilot and a person inside the house died at the scene. Another resident inside the home has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Authorities say the pilot was in contact with airport control moments before the crash.
