Stage one of tax cuts equal to ‘more than two interest rate cuts’

Chris Richardson says the first stage of the Coalition’s proposed income tax cuts ‘is the equivalent of more than two interest rate cuts’. The Coalition is proposing immediate tax relief for low and middle-income earners of up to $1,080 in its first tranche, but the plan is yet to receive backing from the Opposition.
