No more ‘shenanigans’ just policy delivery: Birmingham

FULL INTERVIEW: Trade Minister Simon Birmingham says Australians can be assured that the Liberal Party no longer has ‘bad blood’ and is completely united to get its policy agenda implemented and tax relief delivered to all. The Trade Minister told Sky News there will be no more ‘shenanigans’, just ‘absolute delivery of our policies’. Government insiders have opened up about the events of last year’s leadership meltdown in the Sky News documentary Bad Blood. A Liberal Senator accused Scott Morrison's supporters of deliberately bringing down Malcolm Turnbull to secure numbers for their own man. Mr Birmingham says Malcolm Turnbull would have won the election just as Scott Morrison did, because he is the one who ‘put us in a position where we could bring the budget back into surplus’. ‘The party is continuing to build on his legacy and those before him’, he says.
