Biden defends civil rights record after bruising debate

Former U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden defended his record on civil rights on Friday one day after rival Kamala Harris confronted him on race and called his remarks about working with segregationist senators "hurtful" during a debate hosted by NBC News in Miami.
