NZ budget leak referred to the police

New Zealand police have been called in to investigate the suspected hacking of government budget details after more than 2,000 unauthorised attempts to access related material. The Opposition National Party released figures from the budget on Tuesday, two days before it was due to be handed down by the government. National Party leader Simon Bridges has denied any wrongdoing.
