I have done no deals: Albanese promises to lead Labor for all Australia

May 27, 2019. Incoming opposition leader Anthony Albanese speaks to media in Sydney about his leadership and how he intends to bring the party into government. Albanese says although he is the only candidate for the top job: "Anyone who thinks this has been uncontested hasn't been paying any attention at all." Nominations for the role of federal Labor parliamentary leader closed on Monday morning and, as expected, Albanese was the only person to put his hand up. (AAP VIDEO/Andrew Leeson)
