Disneyland unveils ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ attraction

The lines at Disneyland California have just become a whole lot longer as the famous theme park offers its first glimpse of its newest attraction - Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new addition gives patrons the chance to build their own lightsabers and droids, as well as interact with intergalactic creatures and characters. Although only one ride has opened so far, the Millennium Falcon gives riders the chance to step into the cockpit and take on the role as pilot, steering the Falcon through the simulated galaxy.

Police Detain Person at Moscow Memorial for Navalny

Police in Moscow were seen detaining at least one person at the “Wall of Grief,” a monument to victims of political persecution, where a vigil to Alexei Navalny was set up on Saturday, February 17. Video filmed by Russian media outlet SOTA shows police detaining one person near the monument and carrying them away. Navalny was reported dead by Russian Russian authorities on Friday, February 16. Authorities said the 47-year-old dissident fell ill and died in the prison colony where he was detained. According to Meduza, more than 150 people have been arrested at protests and gatherings in memory of Navalny across Russia. International media reported several journalists were arrested in Moscow and St Petersburg after Navalny’s death was announced.
