Measles cases hit 25-year record in the US

The US has reported its highest number of measles cases in 25 years, with a total of 704 cases in 2019. Health officials say three quarters of those infected had not received a vaccination and blame the record outbreak on the spread of misinformation about the vaccine. The occurrence has prompted President Donald Trump to urge all Americans to get vaccinated.
