The church has failed the people it was supposed to protect: Cardinal

The Vatican’s summit on sexual abuse within the church is entering its fourth and final day. Cardinals from across the world have gathered in Vatican City this week to discuss the church's response to a plague of abuse cases. German Cardinal Reinhard Marx says the way the church has handled many cases has failed the people it was supposed to protect.
