Donald Trump heaped praise on North Korea as he met with Kim Jong Un for a second historic summit in Vietnam, saying Pyongyang had 'unlimited' economic potential which he vowed to help unlock. The US president shook hands with Mr Kim and posed for pictures before sitting down to give the world an update on their flourishing relationship. It comes after the pair met for the first time in Singapore in June last year following the exchange of several personal insults and increased tension over North Korea's nuclear weapons programme. But reflecting on their progress in Hanoi, Mr Trump said: 'I thought the first summit was a great success and I think this one hopefully will be equal or greater than the first.' The president - speaking to Mr Kim through an interpreter - said the US was going to help Pyongyang fulfil its potential.
