Two men charged with deliberately lighting fires in Qld

Two men have been arrested and charged with arson offences in Queensland, as the state grapples with out-of-control bushfires. Police have two men, aged 26 and 27 in custody over allegations they deliberately lit a fire in Port Curtis, south of Rockhampton, where residents have been forced to evacuate from their homes this week. Two houses have been destroyed and hundreds more remain at threat as firefighters continue to battle blazes in scorching weather conditions.
