Vic Labor launches campaign with $1.38 billion in promises

October 28, 2018 Opposition leader Bill Shorten speaking at the Victorian Labor state election launch at Monash University in Melbourne's south east. Shorten urges the crowd of Labor supporters and staffers to help re-elect Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews. Andrews then addresses the crowd with a speech filled with $1.38 billion in promises - more paramedics, another 1100 nurses, more specialist medical care for regional Victorians and 10 new or upgraded community hospitals.
