US President Donald Trump has announced Don McGahn will be leaving his White House Counsel role following revelations he cooperated with a probe into Russian collusion. It is understood Mr McGahn cooperated 'extensively' with the investigation regarding the 2016 presidential election, sitting down for 30-hour interviews with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team. Speculation is also growing over Attorney-General Jeff Sessions' future amid President Trump's frequent criticism of him for rescuing himself from matters concerning the Russia investigation.
