A Rabobank executive has refused to say whether the bank will compensate a Queensland cattle farmer, despite admitting the bank should not have lent money to the family. The banking royal commission has heard the manager, who had a three-way conflict over a Queensland cattle farm sale, had financial incentives and targets to find new loan opportunities totaling $15 million in rural loans annually.
