Snowy Hydro CEO Paul Broad is confident the government’s National Energy Guarantee will happen. Industry leaders have met with Coalition MPs to convince them of the plan as the party remains divided. Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce remain unconvinced and have threatened to cross the floor. Mr Broad told Sky News Business that the NEG is vital for Australia as it gives structure to the market.
